Good morning…
A short while ago, a trapped car exploded in front of a shop selling dairy products, near our house in Baghdad. The shop is in a main, commercial street, in front of an intermediate school for boys. There is no police station, or such other state offices, civilian or military. The victims were, as usual, Iraqi civilians who were passing by, pedestrian, or in their cars…
The question is: who stands behind these silly, stupid operations, that disfigures the reputation of whoever wants to resist the occupation, killing more innocent Iraqi civilians…?
The legitimate Iraqi resistance must be clear in goals and actions. There must be public declarations about their responsibility of these operations, or a public denial…
The mind and logic say: if I wanted to move the occupation out, I wouldn't make my people victims, or targets, included in this chaos…. Nor would I make them a part of the punishment, as if they were cheap souls to be wasted mercilessly, from all sides.
The legitimate resistance is supposed to work cleverly, not to make the people angry with it… giving the new government and the occupation forces the justification to destroy it, considering it a bunch of out-law men, with no mercy in their hearts, targeting the occupation army, Iraqi Police, and Iraqi civilians, all, as if they are all in the same category…
This should not be…
These are stupid, immature acts… that will bring defeat, with military and political loss to all who would join the resistance.
Is the resistance really a bunch of people who hate life, wanting destruction and ruin to all things around them, without a clear, fixed target in vision, and action style? Just explosions, in a blind way, without rules, without mercy to the Iraqi civilians, who are the only victims in this irrational hell?
These mean, irresponsible acts will push the Iraqis away from supporting the resistance, towards hating it…and shunning it…and their hearts and minds shall be with that who will bring them salvation from these inhuman, destructive acts…
Even if salvation was to be by Bush's administration's hand!!
What is needed from the Iraqi resistance that loves Iraq and its people, and wants good for them, is to announce its responsibility, or innocence of these operations that target the Iraqi police, and the innocent, unarmed civilians… those are not supposed to be a part of the equation, whatsoever…
If there was some grudge against a policeman, because he entered an Iraqi house with the Americans, that's another subject…
The Muslim clergy, (the Sunnies and the Shia'ats) are supposed to announce that in their sermons in mosques or public gatherings…that they are against these crazy operations, that produces innocent civilian victims…that they are damaging the reputation of the whole Iraqi people, showing them to the world as ignorant people who do not know where their benefit lies… a group killing another… the religious tumult has not succeeded as yet in disrupting the Iraqis, but this explosion's tumult is the disaster that needs clarification, and elimination, as soon as possible…
This point should be discussed publicly, on the Iraqi resistance web sites on the Internet, or in national gatherings, whether belonging to parties or not, inside Iraq.
Whoever wants to win the battle to his side, should use his head… and whoever refuses to use the brain, acting aggressively and maliciously, by the theory of (let it be on my head, and my enemy's), then his fate would be a disaster upon himself, and upon the whole nation….
We do not need more stupids, fools, and madmen…
The nation had had enough of what happened, and what is happening of destruction, and devastation, because of these dark mentalities.
We need to speak and be truthful, to understand what is going on… and what we want?
Do we want only destruction and ruin? Or do we want to repair the situation towards the better? And how would the situation be repaired, how would a shining future be built? Can this be done by more destruction and ruin? Or by sitting and thinking quietly, recalculating what should be done, and what shouldn't?
We do not want liars, opportunists, or exaggerators… we want rational people, who know the interests of Iraq, and its people, and how to achieve these interests, by the least possible losses of Iraqi souls, who had had enough sufferings in agony, wars, and calamities.
Whoever loves the Iraqis, and wants their welfare, wouldn't hurt them… but would do everything to protect their souls, and not be reckless about their lives, like it is happening now….

I know this war happened in an irrational, unfair, and illegal way… but we shouldn't be fools and do likewise, losing logic, justice, and legitimacy. The concern about the lives of the Iraqis is the criterion of the integrity and rational of this resistance against the occupation… if the months and years go by, and this resistance didn't prove its concern about the Iraqi's lives, it will lose its first supporter and consolidate…..giving the chance to those who hate her to besiege her, and eliminate her…
This subject is very hot, and very serious….in need of a clear resolve everybody learns about, and hear of.
In order for the resistance to remain alive…it should derive its power from the people, and their consent about her…if she fails to obtain this…it would turn to mere outlaw gangs, gangs whose profession is to kill and shed blood among innocent civilians… and then the people will help the government…sooner or later… to get rid of her…and terminate her.
I feel hurt about what is happening of madness, and the irrationality of the on going violence in Iraq… but, there has to be a rational way out to solve these complicated matters… or to clear away the misunderstanding.
Honesty and clarity are the only ways to solve the mistrust, and acquit the accused.
This is what life taught us.
And the continuance of silence and insincerity is the path to the continuous destruction, ruin, and decline.
And that is what I do not want for Iraq, ever….
I want to see a clear, shiny future…without opportunists, lies, and inscrutability…without exaggerations, recklessness, and stupidity…
And without occupation forces… never…
